Beatrice Kangwa is a Senior Manager in the Financial Services Rick Management practice located in Toronto. Beatrice has worked on several Anti-Money Laundering engagements for Financial and Gaming institutions. She has assisted on engagements for AML and Sanctions program assessments within multiple Canadian provinces for crown corporations who oversee government sanctioned lottery games and managing casinos andbingo halls. Beatrice has also worked with large and small-scale investigative teams to provide e-discovery services and has lead multiple collection efforts on small and largescale forensic collections for EY Forensics Canada and the US. She has experience in Digital Forensics as well as complex litigation, internal investigations and government inquiries, providing expertise in forensics, electronic discovery, and analytics. Beatrice developed and applied a variety of quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques aimed at identifying and analyzing presumed damages stemming from business interruptions, broken contracts, negligence, breaches of obligations, intellectual property violations and other similar situations for clients in Banking, Insurance, Mining, Oil and Gas, and infrastructure industries. She has proficient experience in the forensic collection of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and network shares. In E-Discovery matters she is experienced in the implementation and structuring of review workflows, including database setup,administration and troubleshooting to review support and production stage. Beatrice has handled project management for some of EY Toronto’s most complex e-discovery projects including cross-border and multi-workspace engagements. A great communicator, Beatrice deftly stick-handles client requests and works with local and global teams to get projects completed in a timely manner. In her role as a Manager, she has trained, supervised and lead teams in forensic collections, and e-discovery matters.
